From Environmental Action to Community Regeneration
Ricky Wong’s work has developed through hands-on experience across environmental action, community education, CSR programmes, public engagement and social-impact projects. Rather than approaching community impact only through campaigns or one-off events, his work focuses on how people can participate, connect and continue contributing over time. This practical approach now shapes the development of the RE:GEN Community Initiative, which brings together emotional awareness, digital participation and nature-based community regeneration.
Current Focus:
Building the RE:GEN Community Initiative
Today, Ricky focuses on developing RE:GEN as a practical community regeneration ecosystem in Malaysia. The initiative connects the Urban Emotional Experience, an AI-enabled community participation system and nature-based community spaces, creating a pathway from awareness to participation and real-world action.
