FOUNDER · CSR BRAND ANGEL ORGANISATION
The Founder

Ricky Wong Chen Chung
· Community advocate · Social-impact practitioner · CSR strategist
Ricky Wong is the founder of CSR Brand Angel Organisation and the initiator of the RE:GEN Community Initiative in Malaysia. His work focuses on community participation, environmental action, social impact and the development of practical CSR and ESG initiatives that connect people, organisations and communities.
MORE THAN A DECADE
A Decade of Community and Environmental Work.
Ricky’s work has developed through more than a decade of hands-on involvement in environmental action, community education, social-impact initiatives and partnership building. His experience includes public engagement, environmental programmes, community projects and collaborations involving businesses, NGOs and community stakeholders.
Rather than approaching community impact only through one-off activities, his work increasingly focuses on how programmes can create continuity, helping people move from awareness to participation, and from participation to longer-term community contribution.

From Environmental Action to Community Regeneration.
Over time, Ricky’s work evolved from environmental and community activities into a broader question: how can people, technology, nature and partnerships work together to create stronger communities?
This led to the development of RE:GEN Community Initiative, a community regeneration ecosystem that connects emotional awareness, digital participation and nature-based action.

re:gen community initiative
Why RE:GEN Was Created.
Many community and CSR programmes create meaningful moments, but the relationship often ends when the activity ends. Ricky developed RE:GEN around the idea that a meaningful experience should be the beginning of a longer journey rather than the final outcome.
The model brings together the Urban Emotional Experience, the AI Community System, and Community Regeneration to create a pathway from awareness to participation, continued engagement and real-world action.

Current Role

Developing RE:GEN’s community regeneration model

Building CSR and ESG partnership frameworks

Connecting universities, NGOs, businesses and community stakeholders

Developing practical social-impact and participation models

Strengthening evidence, reporting and long-term programme sustainability
the philosophy
Founder’s Philosophy
Community impact should not end with an event. It should create a reason for people to stay connected, participate and contribute again.
Ricky’s approach is grounded in practical implementation. He believes community initiatives become stronger when social purpose, operational sustainability and measurable participation are designed together from the beginning.
