Ricky Wong working on a community environmental regeneration project in Malaysia

Founder Story

From Environmental Action to Community Regeneration.

Ricky Wong has spent more than a decade working across environmental action, community education and social-impact practice. His journey began with tree planting, agriculture, community programmes, environmental action and multi-stakeholder collaboration, gradually leading to one central understanding: environmental, human, community and economic challenges are rarely separate.

What changed his thinking was not whether an event could attract people. It was what remained after it ended. Would participants return? Would corporate resources create long-term value? Would communities become more capable? Could the work be understood, evidenced and replicated by others?

Role Evolution

From founder to ecosystem builder.

Founder / Vision Builder

Defines the vision, connects partners and brings the first real-world pilots to life.

Ecosystem Architect

Strategic Platform Builder

Builds partner mechanisms, governance, evidence, financial sustainability and replication pathways.

Ecosystem Leader

Enables communities, universities, companies and organisations to participate without every component depending on the founder personally.

Current Focus

The priority is not more projects. It is a stronger system.

Community Regeneration

Moving communities from one-off activity towards continuity and regeneration.

Emotional ESG

Exploring how ESG’s Social dimension can reflect real human experience, connection and participation.

Impact & Evidence

Building clear logic from activity and output towards outcomes and impact.

Digital Community

Using AI, WhatsApp and Time Bank concepts to lower barriers to continued participation.

Corporate–Community Partnership

Moving companies beyond sponsorship towards responsible, evidenced community participation.

Replication

Turning successful practice into an operating model that others can use.

The Philosophy

A community is like a tree. Regeneration is not about occasionally watering it. It is about restoring the soil so the tree can become healthy again.
